AutoVidGen ("AutoVid", "we", "us", or "our") operates an AI-powered video generation platform accessible at this domain. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our service.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at admin@autovidgen.com.
When you register, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed version of your password (we never store plain-text passwords). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address.
We store the prompts, scripts, generated video metadata, and scene descriptions associated with videos you create. Generated images and thumbnails are stored on our servers for as long as your account is active; rendered video files are kept for your plan's retention period (see Section 5).
When you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, we store OAuth access and refresh tokens in our database using AES-256-GCM encryption. We use these tokens only to publish content according to the publishing settings you configure - either videos you approve manually, or autopilot series episodes published automatically to the channels and schedule you chose (after their review window, when enabled). We never post on your behalf outside the publishing settings you set up.
In addition to the account details above, we may collect and process the following personal data about you:
We automatically collect usage data - the pages you visit on the platform, the actions you take (e.g. video created, series launched, login), referral source, and timestamps - to understand how our product is used, measure performance, and improve the Service.
Neither of the two tools below loads until you allow it. They are switched off for every visitor by default, we ask before loading either one, and if you decline or never answer, no request is made to Google or to Meta at all. See the Cookie Policy for the exact cookies each one sets and how to change your mind.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our marketing and product pages. The Pixel sets cookies and sends Meta information about the pages you view and certain actions you take, so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising, build audiences, and compile aggregate statistics about how visitors use the platform. This data is processed by Meta under its own privacy policy. You can limit this tracking through your browser settings, ad preferences, or by using tools such as Meta's off-Facebook activity controls.
We also use Google Analytics 4 on our marketing and product pages. It sets cookies and sends Google information about the pages you view, the referring source, and approximate location derived from your IP address, which we use only in aggregate to understand how the site is used. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. You can opt out across every site that uses it with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Payments are handled by PayPal, our third-party payment processor. PayPal handles your payment details directly under its own privacy policy; we never store full card numbers on our servers and receive only a transaction or subscription identifier and its status.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not share it with any third party for their own purposes. The only parties that receive your content are the AI providers strictly necessary to generate your videos (see Section 6) and the social platforms you explicitly choose to publish to. We never hand your data to anyone else, and we do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Your data is hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), where our application, renderer, and PostgreSQL database run on a dedicated server. Video and image files are stored on that server's disk. We implement the following security controls:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (e.g. transaction records, which may be retained for up to 7 years).
Rendered video files (MP4s) are kept for a limited period after generation that depends on your plan (currently between 3 and 14 days), after which the video file itself is automatically deleted from our servers to manage storage. Your video's metadata, thumbnail, publish history, and analytics are kept, and copies you published to your connected social channels are unaffected - download the MP4 within your plan's retention window if you want to keep a local copy.
We use the following third-party services in the course of providing AutoVidGen:
Prompts and content you generate are sent to the AI providers above solely to produce your videos. Aside from these providers and the social platforms you choose to publish to, your data is not disclosed to any third party.
Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy. When you use connected social accounts, those platforms' terms also apply to your content.
AutoVidGen uses YouTube API Services to let you connect your YouTube channel and upload videos you create on our platform, both short-form clips and long-form videos up to 15 minutes. When you connect YouTube, we request access to upload videos on your behalf and to read basic information about your channel (such as your channel name and ID), and we store the resulting OAuth tokens encrypted at rest. We use this access only to perform actions you explicitly request or configure (such as scheduled autopilot publishing to a channel you selected).
AutoVidGen's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@autovidgen.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the service - session tokens stored as httpOnly cookies, and one cookie that remembers your choice below. These are exempt from consent because the service cannot be delivered without them.
Everything else - the analytics and advertising cookies set by Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel - is off until you turn it on. We ask on your first visit, accepting and refusing are equally easy, refusing costs you nothing, and withdrawing later stops the tool and deletes the cookies it set. Your answer is stored for 180 days, after which we ask again.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. The full inventory - every cookie, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts - is in the Cookie Policy. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, through Meta's ad-preference and off-Facebook activity tools, and through Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
AutoVidGen is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal data, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
